About Amy Sylla
My Journey of Overcoming Challenges, Embracing Change, and Empowering Others
From Brown Sugar Talk to SheRISE and everything in between, I’m a an Award-Winning Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Leader, ICF Associate Certified Coach, and sought-after Speaker who blends strategic clarity with soulful depth. With over a decade of experience across France, the U.S., and Canada, I create spaces where marginalized women rise—with intention, confidence, and lasting transformation.
Born and raised in the South of France with Senegalese roots, my work is deeply informed by my lived experience as a Black immigrant woman navigating complex systems across cultures. My impact spans Fortune 500 companies, global conferences, and grassroots organizations—because meaningful change starts at every level. My approach is both bold and generous—anchored in lived wisdom, strategic thinking, and a gift for creating space where others feel seen, safe, and ready to rise.
At my core, I’m a steady light—intentional, grounded, and warm enough to help growth take root in those I work with.
“My mission is to help marginalized women and my audience turn challenges into opportunities, empowering them to live with purpose and create lasting, positive change.”
My values guide every aspect of my work, shaping my interactions with clients, my approach to personal and professional development, and my commitment to creating a better future for marginalized women.
